Den Building in Forest School
<p>On Tuesday afternoon, Year 5 Nurture Group braved the woods in torrential rain. We looked at den building skills. Pupils were very motivated to get their dens up and take shelter underneath them. The group were amazingly resilient and build fantastic dens! </p>

Pond Dipping at Forest School
<p>In Year 5 Nurture Group we have been exploring different habitats through activities and play. This week we went pond dipping, climbed trees and played games. We had a great time!</p>

Spring Bulbs
<p>This week, Year 4 Nurture Group have been working with local gardeners to plant Spring bulbs in the Key Stage 1 and Reception garden. Whilst planting snowdrops, the children were learning about the different parts of a plant and their functions. We were blessed with beautiful sunshine! </p>

<p>Years 3 and 4 had a wonderful time at our Lower Key Stage 2 Christmas Party this afternoon. We danced, played games and had some lovely party food – but most importantly we had a great time celebrating all of our hard work this term with our friends.</p>

Penpals in Paris for Year 6

Nurture Group Trip
<p>Nurture Group from Year 3 and Year 4 had a fabulous afternoon out to Scotswood Community Garden, where they took part in pond-dipping, learnt about bees and pollination and went on a mini-beast hunt!
