<p>We enjoyed some practical activities today based around our exploration of Place Value in Maths.</p>

<p>Year 2 studied the work of a number of environmental artists and then we went out into our school grounds and found lots of things to make our own environmental art. We made some fabulous pictures.</p>

<p>Year 2 have had a fabulous time taking part in The Linking Project. We linked up with friends from Belsay Primary School in Northumberland. We enjoyed meeting with our friends by zoom throughout the year and in person at the Laing Art Gallery. The project has been exciting and interesting and has had so many [&hellip;]</p>

<p>On Monday we were very lucky to have a visit from Angela who works as an optician. She told us all about how to look after our eyes but also how to keep safe in the sun. We learnt about UVA and UVB rays and looked at a model of the inside of an eye. [&hellip;]</p>
