<p>&nbsp; EYFS and Key Stage 1 took part in The Annual Lenten CAFOD Appeal; Walk Against Hunger. We walked 1/2 a mile together remembering those in the world who do not have enough to eat daily. <p>This morning choir and orchestra performed our concert, ‘Friendship,’ for the whole school but also for our adults. A very well done to all members of Choir and Orchestra from Years 4, 5 and 6! The children were put into teams and were asked questions based upon what they have learnt in History, Geography and Science. Mr Brown, our quiz master, asked questions set by Miss Murray and the children worked together in their [&hellip;]</p>

<p>Last week it was lovely to be able to welcome our parents back into Nursery for our first Stay and Play session since Covid began!  We decided to also make it a celebration for Mother&#8217;s Day. The children loved having their mams and dads come to play with them at Nursery and they enjoyed showing [&hellip;]</p>

<p>What an exciting afternoon we had! We visited East End Library on Shields Road. Our lovely librarian read a fantastic picture book to us, ‘One Button Benny,’ by Alan Windram. We then decorated our own robots like Benny. We then got the opportunity to look around the children’s section and to choose our own library [&hellip;]</p>

<p>What an exciting morning we had today! We took part in our first ever Big Quiz. The Quiz involved working in teams to answer key questions from our previous History, Geography and Science topics. The topics covered included: The Stone Age, Newcastle and London and Animals Including Humans. There were also some bonus rounds which [&hellip;]</p>
