<p>This week in school we had an Advent Collective worship which began our Advent preparations. &nbsp; On Monday evening all children took home their own crib scene and Advent Prayer pack to share with their families. We have had some lovely pictures sent into school of children praying with their families. &nbsp;</p>

<p>On Wednesday 2nd December nine of our Year 4 children received the Sacrament of Reconciliation at St Lawrence&#8217;s Church, led by Father Shaun. &nbsp; &nbsp; The children were well supported by their class who attended the service and by their parents. It was a happy and holy event and we look forward to the New [&hellip;]</p>

<p>This week Reception have been busy preparing for Christmas and this special time of Advent. The children worked as a team to decorate their classroom and make decorations and cards as well as our very own gigantic Advent calendar! We will open the calendar everyday to share the children&#8217;s pictures and ideas of how we [&hellip;]</p>

<p>Reception’s RE theme for Advent is &#8216;Birthdays&#8217;.  Last week the children held a special birthday party for Mr Robot who turned five this week. The children planned the party, made decorations, party hats, cards and presents! The children really enjoyed celebrating Mr Robot&#8217;s birthday and we were very impressed with their cool dance moves!</p>

<p>In November we have been thinking about the people in our parish and school community who have passed away. We prayed for them each day in November and hung their names on our Tree of Light. <p>Year 2 have made some fabulous photograph frames to give to their parents as a gift for Christmas. Our first step was to look at a variety of different types of photograph frames and decide what we would like to make.. We chose the materials which we would like to use to make our frames, [&hellip;]</p>
