<p>We had our first Year 2 Now Press Play experience today! We went to an alien planet to advise the inhabitants how to eat healthy and how to look after themselves. We had to think about exercise, keeping clean and the different food groups.</p>

<p>Year 3 are really enjoying their Art unit so far. We have been thinking about prehistoric art and how people living in the Stone Age would have painted. Last week we tried using charcoal and this week we collected other outdoor materials to try, such as leaves, grass, mud and berries! We tried adding water [&hellip;]</p>

<p>Today we made our own healthy lunch wraps! We worked in groups to taste and evaluate the ingredients on offer. We thought about which foods we already like, and which foods we might want to try. We thought about choosing a combination of foods to create a healthy wrap. We then created our own healthy [&hellip;]</p>

<p>The School Council and Mini Vinnie&#8217;s came together to organise a non-uniform day to support CAFOD&#8217;s Family Fast Day. The children came dressed in their own clothes in exchange for £1 or a tin for the food bank. This gave the children and their families the opportunity to support CAFOD&#8217;s campaigns and help those in [&hellip;]</p>

<p>Year 1 children are delighted with their new outdoor area and have had so much fun playing with all of their new equipment. They have loved exploring the different activities available, including sand, water, chalk, small world, construction and reading. It has created such a happy and positive learning environment.             </p>

<p>Today we celebrated a wonderful final Mass of the school year, in honour of both our patron St Lawrence and our Year 6 leavers. Year 6 led us in prayer, reminding us of Lawrence&#8217;s incredible strength in the face of hardship, and his understanding that the sick and needy were the real treasures of the [&hellip;]</p>

<p>KS2 Choir and Orchestra performed a wonderful celebration of Disney music for friends and family. They were conducted by Miss Hedley and either sang or played ukulele. They finished with joyous sing-a-long encore of ‘Hakuna Matata.’ All musicians performed beautifully. Congratulations to all involved and a big thank you to our wonderful music teacher, Miss [&hellip;]</p>
